1. I hate large crowds. That is why I am a homebody anymore.

2. Even though I love the ocean, I never learned how to swim.

3. Two of my biggest fears are being trapped in a fire or drowning.

4. If it wasn’t for my kids, I would lead a pretty boring life. Quiet yes, but way boring.

5. My favorite t.v. show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Real Neat Blog Award

I have been bad,  I was awarded the Real Neat Blog award back in January and never got the chance to accept this honor correctly! Thanks to April from From Diapers and tutus to meetings and boardrooms for nominating me for this award! Thank you again April!   The rules are quite simple and as follows:

First we will start with April’s questions.

1. What is your favorite book of all time? I don’t have one, been so long since I read a complete book, I just don’t remember them all.
2. Speaking of time, if you could travel back to any era which would it be and why? I would go back to the 50’s. I have always wanted to wear a poodle skirt, like my mom had.
3. What is your one guilty pleasure? Sneaking off while Oldest is playing with Little L to use the computer. I don’t get much time on it, and I do feel guilty for not staying with them.
4. Reality t.v. love it or hate it? Hate it. I used to watch a few shows, but then I realized that people are just plain dumb. LOL It got to feeling like it was all rehearsed.
5. Why did you decide to start a blog? Felt like I had something to say or wanted to say or…can’t really remember now. 🙂
   
6. If you were to write a book, what would the title be? Why Me?

After reading so many wonderful blogs, I decided I wanted to try my hand at it. I haven’t been writing for long, when low and behold I get nominated for an award. 7 Facts about me:

1. I lived in Germany when I was 19 for about 3 years.

2. I am addicted to scrapbooking. I have two beautiful subjects so it is lots of fun.

3. I love the beach, even though I have only been there a handful of times.

4. I am very shy at first, but once you get to know me, I won’t shut up.

5. I have lived in 6 different states over the past 16 years.

6. I haven’t worked for a year and a half. When I did, I was a Customer Service Manager at good ole Walmart.

7. When I started writing my blog, I was worried that no one would read it. Here I am being nominated for an Award. Yeah!
