The Perfect Easter Egg

Little L just loves to watch videos on Youtube where they open the surprise kinder eggs. She told me that the Easter bunny was going to bring her a surprise egg with toys inside. So, a few days ago I went shopping for some Easter basket stuffers. But no where in the store did I find empty eggs that was large enough to put in a toy. Well, they did have a set of 3 nesting eggs for 13 bucks, but no I wasn’t going to spend that much and then have to find toys to fill the darn thing. I bought some regular size eggs and some other goodies and some chocolates. When I got home, I put the bags in my mom’s room and shut the door. She, being her sneaky little self, opened the door and went in and looked through one of the bags. She came out all excited about having surprise eggs. I told her she had no surprise eggs.  She had seen the plastic eggs and a few other things. She kept saying that she had surprise eggs with toys inside. Great, now what am I going to do? My mom suggested that I go up to Michael’s since there commercial said they had lots of different size eggs and many basket stuffers to choose from. I went, but they had sold out of alot of items. The only empty larger size eggs they had were 20 bucks, which was way worse then the 13. Oldest was with me, and she had said we should run into Target since it was right next door and see what they had. I am not a fan of Target, but was getting desperate. Off we went, and low and behold, we found a set of 3 empty eggs that are good size and perfect for one small toy in each.  Now she will think that the Easter Bunny did bring her what she wanted. Which could possibly be a bad thing. What will she want that bunny to bring next year? 🙂
