Halloween Candy

Last night while grocery shopping, hubby decided we needed to buy some Halloween candy. “What for?” I asked.  “To eat.” He replied. He rummaged through the bin of candy and came across one of those huge bags. “What do you think of this one?” “That has 100 pieces in it, are you crazy?” I said. “We don’t have to eat it all at once, it should last through the entire month.”  This is coming from a man that can eat a bag of candy in 2 days if he is in the mood to do so. “It would be different if we had kids on Halloween to give candy to, but buying this much is just silly,”  I stated. He put the bag down and was looking at some others, but came back to the original bag. “Fine, go ahead.” Then I asked, “How much is that anyways?” “Twelve dollars.” “What the what?” “Twelve dollars.” I about fainted. The bag made its way into the cart. When we got home I hid it in the cabinet. Out of sight, out of mind.

I still can’t get over the price! 🙂

Yes, I hide all the Halloween candy in a large ziplock bag in the back of the kitchen cabinet. We would have cavities and belly aches if I didn’t do that. Lol!
